Il Vinaio - Siena

A small tavern  in the old center of Siena near one of the main gates that act as a barrier to the city: Porta Camollia. The furniture has been designed to recreate the idea of a small chic tavern.  Solid fir and natural boards have been used for the counter and the display case with their own cuts and differences softened by an open-pore gray lime paint and a white Carrara marble top, all made important by a front frame. The white wooden floor and the natural matchboarding wall cladding combine perfectly with the ceilings and illuminate the small room, making it cozy and warm.
